Summary

Get familiar with the new changes/ enhancements

Overstocking Report in Replenishment, Replenishment with replacement and Fresh Allocation modules.

  • The Overstocking report which summarises store stock, GIT, Open orders, and dispatch quantity from the warehouse at store style level is added under distribution downloads.

  • The same set of filters as other reports: brand, brand segment, category, channel, master category, region, season, the style will be applicable for this report.

Reservation for Online sales from WH stock during depletion

  • The revised algorithm will handle the online sales happening from the same warehouse which addresses offline distribution as well. This will ensure a more accurate picture of the closing inventory at the end of lead time to place reorders or at a future date to take business calls like liquidation based on DOH, health of inventory, etc.  The online sales is accounted from the store codes marked as online in the store master

Replenishing the styles which have recent unliquidated sales

  • In replenishment, the styles which are not top sellers, not present in the store on the day of replenishment, and have unliquidated sales (in recent duration) will be addressed

  • For suggesting the quantity for replenishment for these styles the same logic as before is being used.

Removing manual intervention in ARS

  • In case of run failure due to system errors or input validations, the run is restarted automatically after 30 mins providing the team a window to time to correct for the errors

  • The retry intervals and frequency can be custom defined for each client

Sell through benchmark change in Dynamic Markdown module

  • Extra parameters of live days will be considered with the sell-through benchmarks.eg: If a style, with the planned lifecycle of 60 days, was live for 30 days then the High and Medium benchmarks can be defined as 50% and 30% respectively and if it was live for 60 days then the High and Medium benchmarks can be defined as 70% and 50% respectively.

Downloadable output for Price bucket creation module

  • The download Reports section is added in the Price Bucket creation module.

  • Users can now download the output of this module in excel format using the category filter.

Value Additions

Changes in the task scheduling algorithm

We have moved to priority-based scheduling of the inputs in the upload queue which will reduce the waiting time for a task on a particular client.

Changes in assortment plan output reports in BI
  • In the assortment plan output Size ratios that are rounded to 4 decimal places previously are getting rounded off to the nearest integers.

  • Sizes is be displayed according to size sequence input given eg. XS: S: M: L: XL: XXL instead of alphabetical sorting.

Change in reordering module’s input templates & downloadable outputs
  • The reordering module’s input templates (except lead time) now contains the original data according to the masters.

  • The templates are accessible from the download input template option inside the Upload input pop-up

  • For easier understanding of the output, the downloadable output will have more columns - Opening store inventory, Sales (online & offline), Opening warehouse inventory, Warehouse inwards in lead time, Closing warehouse inventory and Warehouse inwards post lead time

  • Target store spread input is now overwritten with the current store spread in case the current store spread is higher. Current store spread is the number of stores where the style is present in at the end of its lead time

Change in depletion module inputs
  • If a user fills only style, season, and lead time leaving the channel empty then input will be considered as the same values for all channels enabled in the store master.

  • If the lead time input is completely blank then depletion duration will be considered as lead time for all channel style combinations.

For ex., If Style A has the channel column as empty and other columns filled, then the same values are for all channels

If Style B has the channel column filled with channel names, then the values provided are for those channels. Also if Style B has a row with the channel column empty, then the values in those rows are considered for all the other channels

If only a few styles are given in the lead time input, the lead time for the rest of the styles is considered as the depletion duration mentioned in the configuration.
