Summary

1. Keyframe data for inventory creation - Use the Historical store stock data to accurately re-create missing inventory.

2. Turn off new style allocations in closing inventory projection and IST - More flexibility to control new style allocations for the user.

3. Optimizing style-wise buy module- Enhancing the depth suggestion readjustment to generate a more accurate recommendation.

Key feature enhancements

This section will contain new features/ algorithms/ enhancements and optimizations to existing algorithms, reports, and dashboards in the product.

Enable/disable replacement while projecting closing inventory and Inter Store transfer

• The new input gives the flexibility for the user to disable replacements during the sales and inventory simulation in closing inventory projection.

• In Inter Store Transfer, the new style allocation during the replenishment step can be controlled using this same input.

Keyframe data for inventory creation

• The historical store stock already available in the tool can now be used instead of stock snapshot for inventory creation.

• One can choose to create inventory either based on the uploaded ‘Stock Snapshot’ or based on the store stock.

• This will improve the accuracy of the inventory creation when both snapshots and the stored historical inventory are used.

• This option is available in the Parameter section.

Optimising Style Wise Buy module

• Initially, in the style-wise buy module, the depth readjustment was done upon unit readjustment.

• The depth adjustment logic in the style-wise buy module has been improvised to factor percentage readjustment against earlier logic of unit readjustment, resulting in the tool delivering recommendations with higher precision to align with the buy budget.
  
  

Other Value Additions

Dates with stock enabled for starting an algo run

• A new date picker component with options of custom date enabling, manual update by typing the date, and data updation upon pressing enter has been created.

• All days without any stock (keyframe or end date stock) will be disabled for running algos.

Added validation to print styles that do not have EANs mapped to them

• Added new validation to print styles without EANs as warnings in the validation file.

Rephrased validation error message for empty planogram in BI

• Modified validation error for empty planogram from “Planogram is empty” to “Planogram is empty for BI-enabled stores” to reduce ambiguity.

Added size rank column size-wise movement report in IST and Gap analysis output report

• Added a new column - size rank - to the size-wise movement report in IST and gap analysis output report to help users understand how the tool has prioritized SKUs.

Increased maximum character length for seasons in style master

• The tool has been updated to accept up to 1024 characters for the season column in the style master. In addition, each individual season has to be shorter than 255 characters in length.

More accessible reordering output

• Reordering output has been updated only to contain rows where the store-style combination has ROS or closing stock or target sales to decrease the amount of output generated.

• This will help the user to work on the output more efficiently if required in Excel.
