  1. Does the system define the storage capacity of each store?

    • Basis the store targets and minimum size set, the planogram creation module can suggest the storage capacity of each store.

  2. Is the smart assortment plan fixed for a season or does it change with every run?

    • It can change during full-price, discounted and event periods. The change happens depending on the corresponding sales periods considered.

  3. Does the buy plan also keep changing considering it is done twice or thrice a year?

    • Demand patterns during fresh and EOSS(End Of Season Sales) may vary based on which the buy quantity may vary.

  4. If a buy plan is taken for 6 months with monthly buying and every month is needed, should I suggest changes so that the buy plan must change according to the current situation?

    • Buying can be done every month within a season. Demand patterns can vary from month to month and can be based on a similar month last year.

  5. Optimum_width is always getting printed as 0 for AP output?

    • OW runs after AP now, previously it was not the case. We need to remove this column from this downloadable output and report.

  6. Why ap_stock>0 & ap_options=0 in ap_output?

    • For a Store + Category if the number of options defined in the planogram is 5.
      And if the Store+ Category has more than 5 AGs which has ap_stock greater than the size set defined, then tool has to prioritize AGs basis ap_stock to get the options and some will be left with 0 options but ap_stock>0.These cases can happen Plano defined is
       Store+ Cat= 5 options & 50 quantity(size set from here is 10)
      Size set defined for this Store+Cat+Subcat combinations is 5
      When size set derived from Planogram is higher than the size set provided in the size set input for same store+cat.
