Receive Inward Boxes

If we navigate to the Receive Inward Box screen at a later time, we will need to provide the Gate Entry ID.

If the system redirects us after the gate entry, the Gate Entry field will be automatically populated on the "Receive Inward Boxes" screen. However,

Here, We can toggle between External box codes and Internal box codes. I

nternal box code refer to the Increff-generated box codes while external box codes are pre-printed at supplier end(either using Increff InSC tool or any external tool).

By default, the configuration is set as Internal box codes.

If ASN Box mapping for Boxwise Inwards is present, then it will be automatically be toggled on for External Box Codes on entering gate entry Id. User won’t be able to disable toggle in such case.

Internal box code configuration

Please follow the below steps to receive boxes using internal Box codes.(Use External Box Codes toggle is required to be disabled for Internal box code generation)

  1. Scan Gate Entry ID

  2. In the case of internal box code configuration, box code generation is required. Here, a button to print Box Codes will be displayed as shown.

  3. Enter the number of boxes to be printed. There is a limit of 500 box IDs that can be printed at once. In the next Iteration, the remaining can be printed if the number of boxes exceeds 500.

  4. Post box code generation, we can mark complete receiving boxes.

  5. A confirmation message appears on entering the number of boxes and clicking Print boxes button.

  6. After receiving boxes, an assistance popup shows up where the user can see the next action for the boxes. User can decide to stay on the page or Go back to Gate entry.

External box code configuration

Please follow the below steps to receive boxes using internal Box codes.(Use External Box Codes toggle is required to be enabled for Internal box code generation)

  1. Scan Gate Entry ID

  2. Scan all boxes received with external box codes. (No reprinting of Box Ids needed)

  3. After Box codes are scanned, we can complete receiving boxes.

  4. A confirmation message comes up.

  5. The prompt as displayed below is shown. User can decide to stay on the page or Go back to Gate entry.

We display a list of all box codes which are already created for that Gate Entry on the right side of Receive Inward Boxes screen.
The below info is displayed:

  • Box Code

  • Status

  • Box Purpose

  • Are Item codes mapped

 

Creating Box Item Code Mapping where Boxes are received in the warehouse but mapping is not present.

While receiving, if any boxes are received and the Box Item code mapping is not present, this screen can be used to map the box with barcodes and Items.

Follow the below steps:

  1. In WMS, Go to Box Item Code Mapping screen.

  2. Choose the scannable field in Configuration(By clicking the Configuration button) as Barcode or Custom SKU Attribute as per the requirement. SKU Attribute should be searchable attribute and is usually used when barcodes are not present.

  3. Box-Item mapping using Barcode

    1. Scan box code and barcode

    2. Scan the Item Code

    3. Repeat the same steps from 1 if there are more items to be mapped to the box.

  4. Box-Item mapping using Custom SKU Attribute

    1. Scan box code and SKU Attribute

    2. If there are multiple SKUs in master data against the same searchable SKU attribute, all the options are shown. Users can decide to choose one based on the available info displayed in screen and physical characteristics.

    3. Select and then scan the item code

    4. Repeat the same steps from 1 if there are more items to be mapped to the box.

 

In case the item is already mapped to any box of the same ASN, then the below message is displayed:
