    Overview

    Increff WMS supports the feature to group multiple outward orders and release picklists, pick items for the order group.

    Terminology

     

    1. Pick Order Group

      • A group of outward orders for which the items are picked together. Orders can be grouped together based on the below parameters -

        • Client

        • Channel

        • SLA for the orders less than the selected required by

        • Customer/Supplier Name

        • Shipping city of the orders

        • Priority of customer/ supplier

      • The Pick Order Group is uniquely identified by the external pick order group code defined during its creation.

      • It can have a total of 600 order line items corresponding to multiple orders.

    2. Customer / Supplier Priority

      • This is the order fulfillment priority for the customer/supplier.

      • The supported values are from 1 to 5. Here, the highest priority is 1, and the lowest is 5

    Workflow

    Suppliers / Customers screen in OMS

    • A new field Priority is added in Suppliers and Customers creation and updating.

    • This field can be used to convey the priority of the customer/vendor during order picking.

     

    • Customer/ Supplier Priority field supports values from 1 to 5. Here, highest priority is 1, and lowest is 5

    • In case any priority is not specified, 3 will be considered as the default priority

    Updation of Customer / Supplier Priority is supported through the UI 

    Pick Order Group screen in WMS

     

    A new screen Pick Order Group is added under the B2B Picking category.

    The main functionality of this screen is as follows:

    • Search order by different parameters.

    • Create a new Pick Order Group from the search results or through CSV upload of required order Ids.

    • Add orders to the existing pick orders from the search results or through CSV upload of required order Ids.

    • View Pick Order Group details such as the status, orders in the pick order group

    • Complete Pick Order Group

    • Remove orders from the Pick Order Group.

     

    Create Pick Order Group

    Search Functionality

    • The following fields are available as Search Parameters to filter the orders:

      • Client: search all the orders for the selected client

      • Channel: search all the orders for the selected client

      • Required By: search all the orders with the SLA time before (or the same) as the specified search value

      • Partner Name: search all the orders with the partner name starting with the specified search value

      • Shipping City: search all the orders with the order shipping city name starting with the specified search value

      • Partner Priority: search all the orders for the given supplier / customer priority

    • The orders in the search results can be sorted in ascending or descending order based on any of the following fields:

      • Order ID (Default selected)

      • Required By

      • Fulfillment Quantity

      • Partner Priority

    • A toggle Include Orders added to a Pick Order Group is present to include/exclude the list of orders that are already associated with a pick order group.

      • The orders which are not associated with pick order group can be selected through the checkbox.

    • Based on the selected search filters, the table displays a list of all non-CANCELLED and non-COMPLETED orders.

    • The Next and Previous buttons are provided to navigate through the results across pages. The page size can be altered based on the required results.

     

    In the search results, for the orders already added to any pick order group, the Pick Order Group Code will be populated. The user can navigate to Manage Pick Order Group tab by clicking on the pick order group code.

     

    Select Orders to add to pick order group

    Following are the steps to add orders to a pick order group:

    • Go to Pick Order Group screen present in B2B Picking category.

    • Navigate to the Create tab (default selected).

    • Select the applicable filters.

    • Click on the Search button.

    • Select the orders in the table using the checkboxes.

    • A button Selected Orders appears at the bottom-right of the screen along with the count.

    • Click on the Selected Orders button.

    • Select whether the Group Type is New or Existing using the radio button.

    • Enter the Group Code in the text box.

    • Verify the list of Selected Orders on the right-side section of the popup and remove using the Delete icon in case the order should be removed.

    • Click on the Submit button.

    Upload Pick Order Group

    Following are the steps to create/update a pick order group through CSV file upload:

    • Go to Pick Order Group screen present in B2B Picking category.

    • Navigate to the Upload tab.

    • Select the Pick Order Group Type:

      • New (Default selected)

      • Existing

    • Enter the Pick Order Group code.

    • Click on Download Template to download the sample CSV template.

    • Enter the values and upload the CSV file. The maximum row limit allowed in the CSV is 600.

    • Click on the Submit button.


    Manage Pick Order Group

    The following actions are available on this section:

    • View the Orders associated to the Pick Order Group

    • View the Pick Order Group details of an Order

    • Add Orders to a Pick Order Group

    • Remove Orders from a Pick Order Group

    • Mark the Pick Order Group as Complete

     

    View Orders associated with a Pick Order Group

    Following are the steps to View the orders associated with a pick order group:

    • Go to Pick Order Group screen present in B2B Picking category.

    • Navigate to the Manage tab.

    • Enter the Pick Order Group code.

    • In case a valid pick order group code is searched, the following details will be displayed:

      • The Pick Order Group details - pick order group code, status, the total number of order line items for all the orders in the group

      • The list of orders (along with the channel order ID and status of the orders) associated with the pick order group are displayed in the table.

    • A button to complete the pick order group is also displayed if the status of the group is not complete.



    View the Pick Order Group details of an Order

    Following are the steps to View the Pick Order Group details of an Order:

    • Go to Pick Order Group screen present in B2B Picking category.

    • Navigate to the Manage tab.

    • Enter the Order ID.

    • If the Order is associated with a pick order group, the following details will be displayed:

      • The Pick Order Group details - pick order group code, status, the total number of order line items for all the orders in the group

      • The list of orders (along with the channel order ID and status of the orders) associated with the pick order group are displayed in the table.

    • A button to complete the pick order group is also displayed if the status of the group is not complete.


    Add Orders to a Pick Order Group

    Following are the steps to Add Orders to a Pick Order Group:

    • Go to Pick Order Group screen present in B2B Picking category.

    • Navigate to the Manage tab.

    • Enter the Pick Order Group code.

    • Enter Order ID in the Add Order ID text box present above the table.

    • Click on the Add button.


    Remove Orders from a Pick Order Group

    Following are the steps to Remove Orders from a Pick Order Group:

    • Go to Pick Order Group screen present in B2B Picking category.

    • Navigate to the Manage tab.

    • Enter the Pick Order Group code.

    • The list of orders associated with the pick order group are displayed in the table.

    • Click on the Delete icon present in the Action column for that Order.

    • A confirmation popup appears on the screen.

    • Click on the Submit button in the popup.



    Mark the Pick Order Group as Complete

    Following are the steps to Mark the Pick Order Group as Complete:

    • Go to Pick Order Group screen present in B2B Picking category.

    • Navigate to the Manage tab.

    • Enter the Pick Order Group code.

    • Click on the Complete button.

    • A confirmation popup appears on the screen.

    • Click on the Submit button in the popup.


    Release Bulk Pick screen in WMS

    Bulk Order Picklists can be released in this screen using two different methods:

    1. Order wise

      • The picklists will be released for all the SKUs which are allocated for the order

    2. Pick Order Group wise

      • The picklists will be released for all the SKUs which are allocated all eligible orders.

      • The orders present in the pick order group with the status UNFULFILLBALE, CANCELLED, COMPLETED are considered non-eligible orders. Picklists will not be released for these orders.

    Order wise Bulk Pick Release

    • This functionality is same as before.

    • In addition to the existing details, in case an order is associated with any pick order group then this screen displays the pick order group code corresponding to the order.

     

    Pick Order Group wise Bulk Pick Release

    Following are the steps to release bulk pick for a pick order group:

    • Go to the Release Bulk Pick screen present in B2B Picking category.

    • Navigate to the Pick Order Group tab.

    • Enter the Pick Order Group code or Order ID.

    • To release the picklist for the pick order group

      • Click on the Release Pick Order Group Picklist button present in the Pick Order Group Details section.

    • To release a picklist for individual Orders

      • Click on the Release Order Picklist button against the order in the table.

    • A confirmation popup appears on the screen.

    • Click on the Confirm button in the popup.

     

    Bulk Pick Pending screen in WMS

    The Bulk Pick Pending screen is modified to view the pick pendency for every order and every pick order group.

    This screen supports two different views :

    1. Order wise

    2. Pick Order Group wise

    Order wise Bulk Pick Pending

    • This view is same as before.

    • This consists of all orders with pick pendency that are associated/not associated with pick order group

    • In addition to the existing details, in case an order is associated with any pick order group then this screen displays the pick order group code corresponding to the order.


    Pick Order Group wise Bulk Pick Pending

    Following are the steps to view pick order group-wise bulk pick pending:

    • Go to Bulk Pick Pending screen present in B2B Picking category.

    • Turn ON the Switch to Pick Order Group View toggle.

    • This screen displays the pick pendency at the pick group level.

    • Also, the pick pendency are displayed only for the orders associated with the pick order group in this screen.

    • The pick order group-wise bulk pick pendency will be displayed for the following parameters:

      • aisle

      • pick order group code

      • status of the picklist

      • required by time of the orders


    Find Aisle / Order / Pick Order Group Code from the table results

    New functionality is added on the screen to filter the aisle/order/pick order group code value in the table results.

    Following are the steps to filter in the table results:

    • Enter the search text in the text box.

    • Click on the Find button or Press the Enter key.

    • The search text will be matched across aisle ID, order ID and pick order group code values in the table.

    • The row(s) having the match(es) will be displayed and the matched text will be highlighted on the screen.

     

    Bulk Pick Item screen in WMS

    The bulk-picking activity can be done based on any of the following three mechanisms:

    1. Order Picking (default)

      • The nearest picklist for the specified order in the scanned aisle will be suggested for picking and the item will be picked for the same.

    2. Batch Picking

      • The nearest picklist for any of the orders in the specified pick order group in the scanned aisle will be suggested for picking and the item will be picked for the same.

    3. Cluster Picking

      • The nearest picklist for any of the orders in the specified pick order group in the scanned aisle will be suggested for picking and the item will be picked for the same.

      • Once the item gets picked, during the picking process, the item can be consolidated and added to a pack box which is created for the same order.

    Order Picking

    Following are the steps for (default) order picking:

    • Go to Bulk Pick Item screen present in B2B Picking category.

    • Select Order from the options present in the top right corner of the screen. (Default selected)

    • Enter the Bulk Order ID.

    • Scan the Location ID.

    • The pick suggestion is displayed on the screen.

    • Scan the Item Code to pick.

    • The item gets picked successfully.

    • The system displays the next pick suggestion

    • The items can be picked until there are no more items remaining to be picked from that aisle.


    Batch Picking

    Following are the steps for batch picking:

    • Go to Bulk Pick Item screen present in B2B Picking category.

    • Select Batch from the options present in the top right corner of the screen.

    • Enter the Pick Order Group Code.

    • Scan the Location ID.

    • The pick suggestion is displayed on the screen.

    • Scan the Item Code to pick.

    • The item gets picked successfully.

    • The system displays the next pick suggestion.

    • The items can be picked until there are no more items remaining to be picked corresponding to the scanned pick order group from that aisle.


    Cluster Picking

    Following are the steps for cluster picking:

    • Go to Bulk Pick Item screen present in B2B Picking category.

    • Select Cluster from the options present in the top right corner of the screen.

    • Enter the Pick Order Group Code.

    • Scan the Location ID.

    • The pick suggestion is displayed on the screen.

    • Scan the Item Code to pick.

    • Scan the Outward Box ID to place the item.

    • The item gets picked and added to the outward box id successfully.

    • The system displays the next pick suggestion.

    • The items can be picked and added to box until there are no more items remaining to be picked corresponding to the scanned pick order group from that aisle.

     

    Order Manager screen in WMS

    The Pick Order Group code is displayed in the order details table (if the order is associated with a pick order group).

     

    Item Sorting screen in WMS

    The Pick Order Group code is displayed in the Item Sorting screen (if the order corresponding to the item is associated with a pick order group).

     

    Recycle Desk screen in WMS

    The Pick Order Group code is displayed in the Recycle Desk screen (if the order corresponding to the item is associated with a pick order group).
