Price Bucket Creation Help Section

Date Range:

The sales between this date range are used to create the process buckets according to their revenue contribution.

Buckets Required:

The number of buckets given is used to split the revenue contribution across each bucket in a category. If the bucket's required input is 4, that means the contribution benchmark to be taken for each bucket will be 1/4 = 25%.

Bucket Range:

This range is used to split the MRPs between the minimum and maximum MRP for a category. If the first bucket range is giving more revenue contribution than the calculated contribution through buckets required calculation, then the second bucket range is used and similarly the third one.

For eg: If the first bucket range is 1000, then the buckets will be created in the following manner: 0-1000, 1000-2000, 2000-3000 and so on considering 0 is the min MRP in that category.

The price bucket output is printed in the following manner –
Category, Max Mrp, Min Mrp, price_bucket, rev_contri, revenue
