RMS Glossary
Overview
This glossary provides definitions relating to terms and concepts in the context of the Increff RMS.
The value of this glossary is to maximize the understanding of the core business concepts and terminology of the organization. This eliminates misunderstandings that cause lost time, lost opportunities and lost revenue.
Additionally, it aims to maximize communications and understand across the enterprise. For example, it helps to facilitate the decision-making processes through better access to knowledge of our business terms.

B2C order Fulfillment | B2C order fulfillment services focus on delivering manufactured goods directly to customers |
B2B order Fulfillment | B2B order fulfillment services deal with the delivery of goods from business to business. In other words, they transport large, bulk shipments to a recipient company. |

Invoicing Solution Terms
GST | The goods and services tax (GST) is a value-added tax (VAT) levied on most goods and services sold for domestic consumption. The GST is paid by consumers, but it is remitted to the government by the businesses selling the goods and services |
HSN | HSN stands for Harmonized System of Nomenclature and is used to classify goods in a systematic manner. It was developed by the World Customs Organization (WCO) and is considered the global standard when it comes to naming goods |
Invoice Id | An invoice number is simply a unique record number assigned to each invoice you issue |
Shipping Charges | Shipping Charges means the logistics/courier/postal charges incurred for delivering the product(s) from the Seller to the customer. |
E-Invoice | e-Invoice is a system in which B2B invoices are authenticated electronically by GSTN for further use on the common GST portal. Under the electronic invoicing system, an identification number will be issued against every invoice by the Invoice Registration Portal (IRP) to be managed by the GST Network (GSTN). |
IRN | Unique Invoice Reference Number (IRN): The unique IRN will be based on the computation of hash of GSTIN of generator of document (invoice or credit note or debit note), Financial Year, Document Type and Document number like invoice number. |
QR Code | Quick Response Code is abbreviated as QR code. It is a two-dimensional barcode applied to items for presenting information in its machine-readable format. In the e-invoicing system, the QR Code will be used to provide information about a particular invoice in a quick manner, without the need to retrieve such information from an external source, say, the internet. |
Cleartax | ClearTax provides ClearTax GST filing software for accurate GST filing, reconciliation and claiming ITC. ClearTax GST facilitates the generation of e-invoices and e-way bill. |

AWB | An air waybill (AWB) is a document that accompanies goods shipped by a courier to provide detailed information about the shipment and allow it to be tracked. |
Shipping Label | A shipping label is a type of identification label that helps describe and identify the contents of a container or a package. These labels contain crucial information like addresses, names, weight, and tracking barcodes. |
Clickpost | ClickPost is an eCommerce shipping management platform. This platform includes a dispatch API to create orders and generate waybills across all current and future couriers. Additionally, users can track orders in real-time on a single screen and send updates to customers. |
Shiprocket | Shiprocket is an eCommerce shipping platform that enables cost-effective shipping for direct-to-consumer retailers. Its platform employs a machine-learning-based data engine that recommends proper courier service for a business and chooses a courier company, prints shipping labels, and tracks orders from a single panel that enables businesses tomanage their shipping and returns simply and effectively. |
