New Navigation System
Our navigation system has been redesigned to a simplified panel which is always available throughout the product as a left sidebar. This design is minimalistic yet powerful and allows the user to shift between pages from any page in the product.
Above is the current navigation which was available only with the click of the menu icon present near the product name, thus taking two clicks to reach any page.
The new navigation has a left sidebar which contains the module icons and will be available on the left side of any page in the product. Hover over the icon to navigate to the modules and their sub-pages (Overview, Inputs, Run Algo and Reports).
In the new navigation with a single click, you can reach your desired page.
For example, hover over the module icon and click on the listed page links or if the module is categorised hover on the sub-module name listed to open the page links.
Module Categorisation and changes in terminology have been incorporated into the new navigation to suit the current trends.
New categorisation, module order and name changes are as follows:
Data Upload >> Data Creation, Masters
BI Dashboard
Online Analytics
Planning >> Sales Data Cleanup, Top Seller, Revenue Split
Distribution >> Allocation & Replenishments (Previously Distribution), IST (Inter Store Transfer)
Distributed Warehouse Inventory Optimisation (Previously Regional Utilisation)
Dynamic Markdown
The module page headers have been changed to bread crumb which will show the whole hierarchy tree of the module.
It also has the feature to shift between module pages links seamlessly.
The user dropdown has been redesigned as a profile card
Help Options has been relocated towards the user dropdown as an “?” icon.
New MS Pro and Standard Sections
MS Pro modules have been divided into three sections:
Data (common data upload modules) >> Data Creation, Masters
Standard (free to use modules) >> BI, Online Analytics
Pro (paid modules) >> Planning, Distribution, Distributed Warehouse Inventory Optimisation,
Dynamic Markdown
Three sections are present in the navigation system separated by a border.
Pro will have a premium crown icon to indicate it's a paid section.
Walkthrough Videos
We have added walkthrough videos and sales pitch videos in the overview section of the modules.
Video preview will be available in the related videos section on the overview page of the modules.
On clicking, the video will open in a new tab.
Technical Details
This feature has been developed in a configurable way so that videos can be updated dynamically.
The JSON file will be hosted in a separate bucket for use.
