B2B Pack Box Dimensions and Box Label Document

Overview

The capture of dimensions for B2B pack boxes is now provided in the Capture Packet Dimensions screen under B2B Packing & Dispatch category in WMS. 

An optional Remarks field is also provided for specifying any custom pack box remarks.

Box Label documents can be generated for B2B orders after invoicing. This document will contain the box dimensions, remarks, pack box ID, channel order ID and shipping address details.

During Bulk Handover, the system will display the dimensions of the scanned boxes in a table below the Box ID textbox.

For B2C orders, the process of capturing the pack box dimensions remains unchanged.

Capture dimensions for B2B pack box

The following fields can be captured based on the Configuration available on the screen:

  • Length

  • Width

  • Height

  • Weight

  • Remarks (This will be OFF by default)

Note: At least one Dimension (Length / Width / Height / Weight) should be turned ON.

Following are the steps to Capture dimensions for B2B pack boxes:

  1. Go to Capture Packet Dimensions screen under B2B Packing & Dispatch section of Assure WMS.

  2. Scan the Outward Box ID.

  3. The Shipment Details are displayed on the screen.

  4. All the fields selected via Configurations are displayed on the screen.

  5. Capture / enter the pack box dimensions.

  6. All the dimensions should be non-zero.

  7. Click on the Submit button.

Update dimensions of a pack box

The dimensions and remarks of a pack box can also be updated.

Following are the steps to update the dimensions of a pack box:

  1. Go to the Capture Packet Dimensions screen under the B2B Packing & Dispatch section.

  2. Scan the Outward Box ID.

  3. All the fields selected via Configurations are displayed on the screen.

  4. The Shipment Details and Dimension Details are displayed on the screen.

  5. Edit the dimensions and remarks with the desired value.

  6. All the dimensions should be non-zero.

  7. Click on the Submit button.

Print Box Label Document for B2B pack box (AFTER INVOICING)

Once Invoicing is done, then only box labels are available to print.

Following are the steps to Print the Box Label document for B2B pack boxes:

  1. Go to Bulk Invoicing screen under B2B Packing & Dispatch section.

  2. Go to the third tab - Print / Download Box Label.

  3. Scan the Box ID.

  4. The Box Label will be printed successfully.

  5. In case the printing fails due to any reason:

    1. Click on the Print Box Label button to retry printing OR

    2. Click on the Download Box Label button in order to download the box label document.

In the cases where only one box is present in a shipment, then the Box Label Document will be printed automatically when the Invoice is generated (i.e., when clicking on Create / Print Invoice button in tab 1 or tab 2).
