What are the data requirements for Assure?

Can you just give WMS? Can you just give Integrations? And, what is the use of OMS?

The WMS, OMS and CIMS (Integrations) components are very tightly coupled. This tight coupling allows us to deliver very high inventory accuracy, order fulfillment accuracy and scalability. Hence the systems comes as a whole. The OMS component is just a mini OMS which helps in proper inventory allocation to incoming orders. It is not a full blown OMS. The Assure system as a whole can easily integrated with an ERP’s OMS.

Why should I integrate using Assure APIs? Why Assure cannot integrate with our ERP or E-Commerce Portal?

Is tax invoice creation supported in the system?

Most of the market-places and modern e-commerce software systems (E.g. Hybris, Salesforce Commerce Channel, Shopify etc.) provide this functionality. Finally, different sellers may choose to include / exclude certain portions in tax computation (e.g. shipping charges). Finally, the tax invoice also needs to be emailed to the customer. Hence, our system relies on integration with your e-commerce portal or ERP to fetch tax invoice.

That said, Increff can help provide small pieces of code (in Java, PHP etc.) that you can consume in your e-commerce portal to create tax invoice.

Is invoice PDF computation supported in the system?

Most market-places and e-commerce software provide this feature out-of box. Also sellers have specific requirements for invoice format and content. Hence, our system relies on integration with your e-commerce portal or ERP to fetch printable invoice PDF via invoice.

Increff can help provide small pieces of code (in Java, PHP etc.) that you can consume in your e-commerce portal to give printable PDFs

Is logistics integration supported in the system?

Most market-places and e-commerce software provide this feature out-of box. Also sellers can have specific requirements and algorithms to select logistics partner (based on pricing, geographical location etc.) So our system relies on integration with your e-commerce portal or ERP to fetch AWB and create Manifest.

Do you provide order splitting and order routing ?

Most market-places and e-commerce software provide this feature out-of box. So we have decided to rely on the front-end e-commerce system to do this automatically.

Is there feature to create Return Order?

Generally, a Return Order are initiated by customers on the e-commerce portal. Then an AWB also needs to be created for this. Finally, all the returns related details or invoice cancellation notes need to be sent to the customer. So this functionality is best handled in the e-commerce system. We rely on the front-end e-commerce system to do this all, and provide us with a Return Order with AWB.

Why bulk order cancellation is not supported?

Such a feature would give dangerous power to an operator to misuse the system. One would be able to cancel 100’s or even 1000’s of orders by simply uploading an excel sheet. Hence this feature is not provided.
