B2B Pack Box Dimensions and Box Label Document

The option of capturing dimensions for B2B pack boxes is now provided in the Capture Packet Dimensions screen in WMS. 

An optional Remarks field is also provided for specifying any custom box-level remarks.

For a pack box whose dimensions have been captured, a Box Label document can be generated. This document will contain the box dimensions, remarks, pack box ID, channel order ID and shipping address details.

During Bulk Handover, the system will display the dimensions of the scanned boxes in a table below the Box ID textbox.

For B2C orders, the process to capture the pack box dimensions remains unchanged.

Capture dimensions for B2B pack box

Following are the steps to Capture dimensions for B2B pack boxes:

1. Go to Capture Packet Dimensions screen under B2C Packing & Dispatch section of Assure WMS.

2. Scan the Outward Box ID.

3. The system will display the Shipment Details.

4. Capture / enter the following pack box dimensions:

   1. Length

   2. Width

   3. Height

   4. Weight

5. At least one of the dimensions should be non-zero.

6. In order to capture the Remarks, click on the Capture Remarks & Submit button. Else, Click on the Submit button.

7. On capturing the dimensions, the box label document will be generated and printed automatically.

8. In case any error occurs during automatic box label printing, the box label document can be printed manually by following these steps.

Update Remarks for a pack box after dimensions capture

The remarks can be captured even after capturing the dimensions of a packbox.

Following are the steps to update the remarks and reprint the box label for a pack box:

1. Go to Capture Packet Dimensions screen under B2C Packing & Dispatch section of Assure WMS.

2. Scan the Outward Box ID.

3. The Shipment Details and Dimenision Details will be displayed on the screen.

4. Edit the remarks field with the desired value.

5. Click on the Update Remarks button.

Print Box Label Document for B2B pack box

Following are the steps to Print the Box Label document for B2B pack boxes:

1. Go to Capture Packet Dimensions screen under B2C Packing & Dispatch section of Assure WMS.

2. Go to the second tab - Print / Download Box Label.

3. Scan the Outward Box ID.

4. Click on the Print Box Label button in order to print the box label document.

5. Click on the Download Box Label button in order to download the box label document.
