Printer Settings in Omni WMS

Print-app setup

Following are the steps to set up and start the print-app:

  1. Download the print-app tomcat zip file by clicking on the following link: https://static.increff.com/print-app/Increff-Printing-Winx64-8005-v3.zip

  2. Extract the zip file to a folder on your system

  3. Start the tomcat by navigating to print-app-folder =>  apache-tomcat-8.5.82 => bin => startup.bat

  4. On successful startup, the command prompt will display a message in the last line: org.apache.catalina.startup.Catalina.start Server startup in ___ ms

  5. Open Google Chrome browser

  6. Enter http://localhost:8080/print/ in the address bar

  7. Increff Print App will be opened with the list of Available Printers and option to test print

  8. Check if the connected printer is displayed in the list of printers

  9. Select the Printer using the radio button

  10. Test Print a Barcode by selecting the Print a Barcode checkbox

  11. Click on the Print button

Configure Printers

Following are the steps to configure printers for printing stickers and all types of documents:

  1. Make sure the tomcat (print-app) is started and is running

  2. Go to Printing Configurations screen in Increff WMS

  3. Navigate to the first tab (Configure Printer)

  4. To configure default printer settings, select the Channel as DEFAULT_CONFIG (auto-selected on page load)

  5. Select the Printer from the dropdown for each print type (Item Sticker, Other Sticker, Invoice, Shipping Label, Box Label, Manifest, Gift Label and Packing List)

    1. Separate printers can be configured for Item Sticker and Other Stickers.

    2. Other Stickers include the following sticker types -

      1. Location / Pigeonhole / Pre-Pack Staging Location ID

      2. Inward Box ID

      3. Bin ID

      4. B2C Outward Box ID

      5. B2B Outward Box ID

  6. After selecting the printer, click on the Test button to test print on the selected printer.

  7. Click on the Save button

  8. Now the default printer configuration will be saved.

  9. To configure channel-wise printer configuration, Select the Channel from Channel dropdown and repeat the steps 5 to 7 mentioned above.

Sticker Types and Barcode Types:

Following are the Sticker Types and Barcode Types available in Increff WMS:

Sticker Types:

  • Location / Pigeonhole / Pre-Pack Staging Location ID

  • Item Code

  • Inward Box ID

  • Bin ID

  • B2C Outward Box ID

  • B2B Outward Box ID

 

Barcode Types:

  • 1D Barcode (default)

  • QR Code with Text

  • QR Code without Text

Configure Barcode Type for Stickers

Following are the steps to configure the barcode type for the stickers:

  1. Go to the Printing Configurations screen in Increff WMS.

  2. Navigate to the second tab (Configure sticker)

  3. Based on the sticker size used, turn ON the Print Smaller Stickers configuration if required.

  4. Select the Sticker Type from the list available on the left-side of the screen.

  5. Select the Barcode Type through the radio buttons.

  6. A preview of the selected sticker along with the Recommended Sticker Size will be displayed on the right side of the configurations.

  7. The user can test print the sticker using the Test Print button available below the sticker preview.

⚠️ NOTE: QR code without text configuration is available only for Item Code sticker when Print Smaller Stickers configuration is ON.

These configurations will be saved on the user’s system and will be available in the next login.

Configure Values in Stickers

Item Code sticker

Configure Client SKU ID in Item Code sticker

Following are the steps to configure Client SKU ID in Item sticker:

  1. Go to Printing Configurations screen in Increff WMS

  2. Under the second tab (Configure sticker) select Item Code from the left-side menu

  3. Print / remove Client SKU ID in Item Sticker:

    1. To print Client SKU ID in Item sticker => turn ON the checkbox selection named Client SKU ID

    2. To remove Client SKU ID from Item sticker => turn OFF the checkbox selection named Client SKU ID

  4. Configure Font of Client SKU ID in Item Sticker:

    1. To set the Font as Normal => Select the Font as Normal from the Font dropdown (default)

    2. To set the Font as Bold => Select the Font as Bold from the Font dropdown

  5. Configure Alignment of Client SKU ID in Item Sticker:

    1. To align the Client SKU ID to the right side in the sticker => Select the Alignment from the dropdown as Right (default) from the Align dropdown

    2. To align the Client SKU ID to the left side in the sticker => Select the Alignment from the dropdown as Left from the Align dropdown

Configure Batch Information in Item Code sticker

⚠️ NOTE: Batch Information (External Batch ID and Expiry date) will be printed on Item Code sticker based on this configuration only when Expiry feature is enabled for the Client.

Following are the steps to configure Batch Information in Item sticker:

  1. Go to Printing Configurations screen in Increff WMS

  2. Under the second tab (Configure sticker) select Item Code from the left-side menu

  3. Print / remove Batch Information in Item Sticker:

    1. To print Batch Information in Item sticker => turn ON the checkbox selection named Batch Information

    2. To remove Batch Information from Item sticker => turn OFF the checkbox selection named Batch Information

  4. Configure Font of Batch Information in Item Sticker:

    1. To set the Font as Normal => Select the Font as Normal from the Font dropdown (default)

    2. To set the Font as Bold => Select the Font as Bold from the Font dropdown

  5. Configure Alignment of Batch Information in Item Sticker:

    1. To align the Client SKU ID to the right side in the sticker => Select the Alignment from the dropdown as Right (default) from the Align dropdown

    2. To align the Client SKU ID to the left side in the sticker => Select the Alignment from the dropdown as Left from the Align dropdown

Inward Box ID sticker

Configure Invoice ID in Inward Box ID sticker

Following are the steps to configure Invoice ID in Inward Box sticker:

  1. Go to the Printing Configurations screen in Increff WMS.

  2. Under the second tab (Configure sticker) select Inward Box ID from the left-side menu.

  3. Print / remove Invoice ID in Inward Box ID Sticker:

    1. To print Invoice ID in Inward Box ID sticker => turn ON the checkbox selection named Invoice ID

    2. To remove Invoice ID from Item sticker => turn OFF the checkbox selection named Invoice ID

  4. Configure Font of Invoice ID in Inward Box ID Sticker:

    1. To set the Font as Normal => Select the Font as Normal from the Font dropdown (default)

    2. To set the Font as Bold => Select the Font as Bold from the Font dropdown

  5. Configure Alignment of Invoice ID in Inward Box ID Sticker:

    1. To align the Invoice ID to the right side in the sticker => Select the Alignment from the dropdown as Right (default) from the Align dropdown

    2. To align the Invoice ID to the left side in the sticker => Select the Alignment from the dropdown as Left from the Align dropdown

B2C Outward Box ID sticker

Configure Channel ID in B2C Outward Box ID sticker

Following are the steps to configure Order ID in B2C Outward Box sticker:

  1. Go to Printing Configurations screen in Increff WMS

  2. Under the second tab (Configure sticker) select B2C Outward Box ID from the left-side menu

  3. Print / remove Channel ID in B2C Outward Box ID Sticker:

    1. To print Channel ID in B2C Outward Box ID sticker => turn ON the checkbox selection named Channel ID

    2. To remove Channel ID in B2C Outward Box ID sticker => turn OFF the checkbox selection named Channel ID

  4. Configure Font of Channel ID in B2C Outward Box ID Sticker:

    1. To set the Font as Normal => Select the Font as Normal from the Font dropdown (default)

    2. To set the Font as Bold => Select the Font as Bold from the Font dropdown

  5. Configure Alignment of Channel ID in B2C Outward Box ID Sticker:

    1. To align the Channel ID to the right side in the sticker => Select the Alignment from the dropdown as Right (default) from the Align dropdown

    2. To align the Channel ID to the left side in the sticker => Select the Alignment from the dropdown as Left from the Align dropdown

Configure Order ID in B2C Outward Box ID sticker

Following are the steps to configure Order ID in B2C Outward Box sticker:

  1. Go to Printing Configurations screen in Increff WMS

  2. Under the second tab (Configure sticker) select B2C Outward Box ID from the left-side menu

  3. Print / remove Order ID in B2C Outward Box ID Sticker:

    1. To print Order ID in B2C Outward Box ID sticker => turn ON the checkbox selection named Order ID

    2. To remove Order ID in B2C Outward Box ID sticker => turn OFF the checkbox selection named Order ID

  4. Configure Font of Order ID in B2C Outward Box ID Sticker:

    1. To set the Font as Normal => Select the Font as Normal from the Font dropdown (default)

    2. To set the Font as Bold => Select the Font as Bold from the Font dropdown

  5. Configure Alignment of Order ID in B2C Outward Box ID Sticker:

    1. To align the Order ID to the right side in the sticker => Select the Alignment from the dropdown as Right (default) from the Align dropdown

    2. To align the Order ID to the left side in the sticker => Select the Alignment from the dropdown as Left from the Align dropdown

Configure Order Priority in B2C Outward Box ID sticker

Following are the steps to configure Order Priority in B2C Outward Box sticker:

  1. Go to Printing Configurations screen in Increff WMS

  2. Under the second tab (Configure sticker) select B2C Outward Box ID from the left-side menu

  3. Print / remove Order Priority in B2C Outward Box ID Sticker:

    1. To print Order Priority in B2C Outward Box ID sticker => turn ON the checkbox selection named Order Priority

    2. To remove Order Priority in B2C Outward Box ID sticker => turn OFF the checkbox selection named Order Priority

  4. Configure Font of Order Priority in B2C Outward Box ID Sticker:

    1. To set the Font as Normal => Select the Font as Normal from the Font dropdown (default)

    2. To set the Font as Bold => Select the Font as Bold from the Font dropdown

  5. Configure Alignment of Order Priority in B2C Outward Box ID Sticker:

    1. To align the Order Priority to the right side in the sticker => Select the Alignment from the dropdown as Right (default) from the Align dropdown

    2. To align the Order Priority to the left side in the sticker => Select the Alignment from the dropdown as Left from the Align dropdown

Configure City and Country Code in B2C Outward Box ID sticker

Following are the steps to configure City and Country Code in B2C Outward Box sticker:

  1. Go to Printing Configurations screen in Increff WMS

  2. Under the second tab (Configure sticker) select B2C Outward Box ID from the left-side menu

  3. Print / remove City and Country Code in B2C Outward Box ID Sticker:

    1. To print City and Country Code in B2C Outward Box ID sticker => turn ON the checkbox selection named City and Country Code

    2. To remove City and Country Code in B2C Outward Box ID sticker => turn OFF the checkbox selection named City and Country Code

  4. Configure Font of City and Country Code in B2C Outward Box ID Sticker:

    1. To set the Font as Normal => Select the Font as Normal from the Font dropdown (default)

    2. To set the Font as Bold => Select the Font as Bold from the Font dropdown

  5. Configure Alignment of City and Country Code in B2C Outward Box ID Sticker:

    1. To align the City and Country Code to the right side in the sticker => Select the Alignment from the dropdown as Right (default) from the Align dropdown

    2. To align the City and Country Code to the left side in the sticker => Select the Alignment from the dropdown as Left from the Align dropdown

Reprint Stickers / Documents

Reprint Item sticker

Following are the steps to Reprint the Item Code stickers:

  1. Go to Reprint Stickers screen in Increff WMS

  2. Navigate to the Item Code tab

  3. Enter / Scan the Item Code to be reprinted

  4. The item sticker with the sticker title as REPRINTED Item Code will be printed


⚠️ NOTE:

  • Only the Items which are not in PACKING / PACKED status can be reprinted.

  • Item Code reprinting option will be available on the screen only when the reprintItem config is turned ON

Reprint Bin sticker

Reprint Single Bin Sticker

Following are the steps to Reprint single a Bin ID sticker:

  1. Go to Reprint Stickers screen in Increff WMS

  2. Navigate to the Bin ID tab

  3. Select the Print Type as SINGLE

  4. Enter / Scan the Bin ID to be reprinted

  5. The bin sticker with the sticker title as REPRINTED BIN ID will be printed

Reprint Multiple Bin Stickers

Following are the steps to Reprint bulk Bin ID stickers:

  1. Go to Reprint Stickers screen in Increff WMS

  2. Navigate to the Bin ID tab

  3. Select the Print Type as BULK

  4. Download the Sample CSV template

  5. Enter the Bin ID values in the CSV file (max allowed row limit is 50)

  6. Upload the CSV file

  7. Click on the Print button

  8. The bin stickers with the sticker title as REPRINTED BIN ID will be printed


⚠️ NOTE: Bin ID reprinting option will be available on the screen only when the reprintBin config is turned ON

Print Location / Pigeonhole / Pre-Pack Staging Location stickers

Following are the steps to print the Location / Pigeonhole / Pre-Pack Staging Location stickers:

  1. Go to Reprint Stickers screen in Increff WMS

  2. Navigate to the Location ID tab

  3. Select the Location Type as either Storage / Pigeonhole / Pre-Pack Staging

  4. Download the Sample CSV Template

  5. Enter the Location ID / Pigeonhole ID / Pre-Pack Staging Location value under the Location Name column

  6. Upload the CSV file

  7. Click on the Print button

  8. The location stickers will be printed

Reprint Inward Box ID sticker

Following are the steps to reprint the Inward Box stickers:

  1. Go to Gate Entry screen in Increff WMS

  2. Search for the Gate Entry using the search parameters

  3. The Gate Entries will be displayed in the table

  4. Go to the Action column in the table

  5. Click on the Print icon ( ⎙ )

  6. The Inward Box ID sticker will be printed

Reprint documents

Following documents can be printed using Reprint Stickers screen:

  • Invoice

  • Shipping Label

  • Box Label

  • Gift Label

  • Manifest

  • Packing List

Following are the steps to Reprint the documents:

  1. Go to Reprint Stickers screen in Increff WMS

  2. Navigate to the Document tab

  3. Select the Document Type from the dropdown

  4. Select the Print Type as either 

    1. URL => In case you have the Document URL

    2. Text => In case you have the PRN data (Printer specific data)

  5. Enter the document URL or the PRN data in the textbox

  6. Click on the Print button

  7. The document will be printed

Update Print App

After sprint-66 deployment, all the systems using print-app will get a notification to update it to the latest version. This is a one-time activity.

The new version of print-app should be downloaded based on:

  1. system architecture (64-bit / 32-bit)

  2. the print-app port that is currently configured in the system.

To check the system architecture and the port currently in use, check the installed print-app folder name.
Example: If the folder name is Increff-Printing-Winx64-8005-v2, then:

  1. system architecture is 64-bit and

  2. the configured port is 8005
