To streamline the operations process for processing large number of B2B orders we have come up with the feature for post pack staging & handover using gate pass. both functionalities can be used independently as well.

This will help with the following:

  • Handling cases where there is a lag in packing to invoicing to handover activities.

  • Supporting handover of multiple B2B orders together at once against a Gate Pass.

Gate passes will be created on a shipment level and not on a box level.

High level workflow

  1. Put away boxes to post pack staging area. This will help in consolidating all boxes of a shipment.

  2. Create a gate pass of one or more shipment.

  3. Use Gate pass wise picking from post pack staging area to pick all boxes and bring them to dock for handover. (other picking logics are also there)

  4. Hanover by Gate pass. This ensures that all boxes in those shipments are handed over correctly.
