The external Serial Codes field can be used to capture any serial code against the item in WMS and SFS. Eg, IMEI number, or any other identifier. Tag loops can be captured in SFS and WMS while packing.

Capture External Serial Codes while packing in SFS

SFS/ USP now supports capturing and mapping external Serial codes during packing.

Please follow the below steps to capture external Serial Codes in SFS/ OMS UI:

1. Go to the Packing screen in the Outward section.
   
   

   Open

   

2. Click on Configurations

   Open

   

3. Enable the configuration Capture External Serial Code in pack by Picklist ID/Order ID

4. To pack orders using Picklist ID, please scan the External Serial Code after scanning Picklist ID and Client SKU ID.

5. To pack orders using Order ID, please scan the External Serial Code after scanning Order ID and Client SKU ID.
