Return Order Processing without Forward Orders in Increff WMS

Return Order Processing without Forward Orders in Increff WMS

Overview

The latest update in Increff WMS allows users to process return orders independently, even when no forward orders have been shipped through Increff WMS. This feature aims to offer greater flexibility and ease for brands managing multiple fulfillment systems.

Why We Built This Feature?

This enhancement addresses the needs of brands seeking seamless integration with Increff WMS, especially during transitions from other OMS or WMS systems. It empowers businesses to manage return orders efficiently without being tied to previous forward shipment data within Increff WMS, effectively facilitating faster operational adaptations and streamlined supply chain processes.

Business Impact

  1. Accelerated Migration: Brands switching from other systems can expedite their go-live process by handling return orders directly in Increff WMS without importing historical forward shipment records.

  2. Optimized Centralized Returns: For brands operating different fulfillment systems in stores or darkstores, this feature enables centralized return processing at a main hub or warehouse, ensuring a more streamlined and optimized supply chain management.

  • Config OFF: Follows existing procedures requiring an Increff WMS-processed forward order.

Return Order Creation

  • Orders can be created via standard APIs or CIMS UI uploads.

  • The system utilises channelOrderID for search and identification, facilitating returns even without prior forward orders in Increff WMS.
