Capturing SKU Dimensions in Increff Omni

Overview

Increff Omni provides the feature to capture the SKU Dimensions (length, breadth, height) and weight. The captured Dimensions can be displayed on the WMS screens through Attributes Configuration.

Capture SKU Dimensions and Weight

SKU Dimensions and Weights can be captured in following two ways:

  • Products screen in INCREFF OMS module

  • Capture SKU Dimensions screen in INCREFF OMS module 

Capture SKU dimensions in OMS Products screen

Following are the steps to capture the SKU dimensions in OMS Products screen:

  1. Go to the Products screen in OMS under the Product Settings category.

  2. Navigate to the New tab (default selected).

  3. Select a Client through the drop down.

  4. Download the sample CSV template. The CSV template contains all the standard SKU attributes of the selected client.

  5. Enter the Length, breadth, height and weight of the SKU along with other SKU attributes in the CSV.

  6. Upload the CSV and click on the Submit button.

⚠️ NOTE: 

  • Length, Breadth, Height and Weight fields can accept decimal values greater than 0.

  • Either all 3 dimensions i.e. length, breadth and height should be considered for capturing or none. Uploading one or two dimensions is not allowed.

Capture dimensions through Capture SKU Dimensions screen

  1. Go to the Capture SKU Dimensions screen under the Product Settings category.

  2. To configure the dimensions to be captured, click on the Configurations button on the top right corner of the screen.

  3. Select all the fields to be captured for the SKU through checkboxes

  4. Following fields can be selected for capturing:

    1. Dimensions (length, breadth and height)

    2. Weight

  5. The input fields on the SKU dimensions form will be displayed based on the configuration of selected fields.

  6. Select the Client from the drop down.

  7. Scan / Enter the Client SKU ID

  8. The SKU details along with a form to fill the dimensions and weight are displayed.

  9. The dimensions and / or weight can be recorded through the form. 

  10. On submitting the form or on Enter key press of the last field, the dimensions are recorded.

⚠️ NOTE: 

  • All dimensions and weight should be decimal values greater than 0.

  • Either all 3 dimensions i.e. length, breadth and height should be considered for capturing or none. Uploading one or two dimensions is not allowed.

Update SKU Dimensions and Weight

SKU Dimensions and Weights can be updated in following two ways:

  • Products screen in INCREFF OMS module

  • Capture SKU Dimensions screen in INCREFF OMS module 

Update SKU dimensions in OMS Products screen

Following are the steps to Update SKU dimensions in OMS Products screen:

  1. Go to the Products screen in OMS under the Product Settings category.

  2. Navigate to the Edit tab.

  3. Select a client through the drop down.

  4. Select Length, Breadth, Height and weight through checkboxes.

  5. Download the sample CSV template. The CSV template contains all the standard SKU attributes of the selected client.

  6. Enter the Length, breadth, height and weight of the SKU along with other SKU attributes in the CSV.

  7. Upload the CSV and click on the Submit button.

⚠️ NOTE: 

  • All dimensions and weight should be decimal values greater than 0.

 

Update SKU Dimensions through Capture SKU Dimensions screen

Following are the steps to Update SKU dimensions through Capture SKU Dimensions screen:

  1. Go to the Capture SKU Dimensions screen under the Product Settings category.

  2. Select the Client from the drop down.

  3. Scan / Enter the Client SKU ID

  4. The SKU details along with a form to fill the dimensions and weight are displayed.

  5. The dimensions and / or weight can be recorded through the form. 

  6. If the dimensions have previously been recorded for the SKU, these values are pre-filled in the form and can be edited. 

  7. On submitting the form or on Enter key press of the last field, the dimensions are recorded.

⚠️ NOTE: 

  • All dimensions and weight should be decimal values greater than 0.

Display Dimensions and Weight in INCREFF WMS screens

Configuration of Attributes to Display Dimensions

Following are the steps to Configure the Dimensions in OMS Attributes Configuration screen:

  1. Go to the Attributes Configuration screen in OMS under the Product Settings category.

  2. In the attributes configuration screen, tap on the eye icon(pointed by the arrow in Fig 7) against length, breadth, height or weight to display them in the WMS

  3. The attributes can also be highlighted in the WMS by tapping on the highlighter icon next to the eye icon.

Figure 8: If any one of length, breadth or height is displayed, the other dimensions are also displayed in the WMS

⚠️ NOTE: 

  • If any one of length, breadth or height is displayed / highlighted, the other dimensions are also displayed / highlighted in the WMS.

  • The maximum number of displayable SKU attribute fields is increased to 16.

Display of Dimensions in WMS

Based on the attribute configuration, the dimensions are displayed in the WMS on GRN, Picking, Packing and all the other screens where SKU attribute Details are displayed.
