Enhancing Top Seller identification
Earlier in allocation the Allocation module, Top sellers were being identified on the basis of revenue per day benchmark and min minimum live days criteria at a category level. This lead led to an increased increase in the likelihood of high-price range articles being identified as Top SellerSellers.
To increase the accuracy, the Revenue/Day condition of to identify a top Top seller is now moved to the category+price bucket level.
Refining size set calculation to be met at style level during allocation
Initially, during allocations, the size set gets used to get divided amongst among all sizes present in the Attribute Group (AG). This disregards disregarded the possibility of a style not having all the sizes of that Attribute group in which case, the size set would not be met. For example: If an AG Attribute Group has 8 eight sizes while and a style only has 5 sizes, the within this Attribute Group has only five sizes, then, allocation was being done for 5 sizes in the contribution of the sizes in the AG size contribution based on those five sizes as opposed to the size contribution of eight sizes i.e. only 60% of the size set was being met leading to the allocation quantity less than that of the size set.
Now, the size depth calculation is getting normalized at the style level which would will ensure that the entire size set is being sent to the store.
Introducing input parameters to maintain cover days for Top Sellers
Initially in the allocation Allocation module, ‘Additional ‘Additional DOH cover for Top Sellers’ Sellers’ was the input parameter that directly identified cover days for Top Sellers.
Now, two new input parameters ‘Additional ‘Additional % cover days multiplier for Top sellers’ sellers’ and ‘Increment ‘Increment Max SKU depth for Top sellers’ sellers’ under the Top Seller section have been added.
New The new cover days formula for the top sellers would will be: repl_cycle_days * Additional % cover days multiplier for Top sellers (repl_cycle_days is a column found in Planogram input)
‘Max SKU depth’ in case of top sellers would will get incremented as per the 'Additional % cover days multiplier for Top sellers'. This is done via the toggle - ‘Increment ‘Increment Max SKU depth for Top sellers’sellers’. If the 'Increment Max SKU depth for top sellers' is set to “Yes” “Yes” then the Max SKU depth formula for top sellers would will be: round (max SKU depth * Additional % cover days multiplier for Top sellers)
