The Cross Dock Staging area is designated for storing Crossdock boxes after approval in the following cases:
When the Crossdock plan is not yet available for the boxes.
When the Crossdock plan is available for the boxes, but the order has a late Service Level Agreement (SLA).
The setup includes configured aisles for staging, with no specific requirement for zones.
Within this area, storage boxes of the Crossdock type are accommodated. Each location holds a single box.
Storage boxes from this area can be moved to:
Packing Desk: If a crossdock plan is available and no consolidation of boxes is needed.
Outward Staging: If a crossdock plan is available, and there is a need for consolidating boxes.
Storage Area: To activate live inventory.
Storage boxes are converted into pack boxes when

When storage boxes are picked for movement into live inventory, they are converted into bins.

Go to WMS → Configuration → Location Configuration.

Go to the Configure Aisles tab. Choose Aisle type as Cross Dock Staging. A user can choose any of the actions from Create Aisle(s), Enable Aisle(s), Disable Aisle(s)

Download the template accordingly and add the Aisle names for the selected Action. Then, upload the template with relevant data.

Post Aisle creation, add Locations. Go to the Configure Locations tab. Choose Location type as Cross Dock Staging. A user can choose any of the actions from Create Location(s), Edit Distance, Enable Location(s), and Disable Location(s)
Download the template accordingly and add the Location names for the selected Action. Then, upload the template with relevant data.

Cross Dock Staging Area Details
The details on Aisle, Order, count of boxes that are stored in Crossdock staging area are present in this screen.
Go to WMS-> Cross Dock Staging Area-> Cross Dock Staging Area Details.
Users can find the Crossdock Aisle name and number of boxes along with Required by Time, using search filter of Sub Order Id. Sub Order Id can be skipped to get the data for all Crossdock aisles.
The Sorting options are available on Aisle name or Order Id.

Cross Dock Staging area Put Away
Below are the steps to put away the boxes to the Cross Dock Staging area:
Go to WMS-> Crossdock Staging Putaway.
To check the nearest empty location in Aisle, Scan any first loation of aisle.
Scan the storage box ID to be put away to Crossdock staging.
Scan the location ID to confirm the putaway
