Box packing & Invoicing
Implementation of Post Packing staging area Customer wise Gate Passes and Gate pass wise Post Pack Staging gives:
Visibility of store from box packing station to staging areas.
Reducing the number of invoices getting created
Gate Pass Generation on customer level for easy handling
Box packing & Invoicing: Support Adding every pack box to a new shipment
This helps in visibility of store from box packing station to staging areas.
Please set one time configuration “add pack box to shipment”. This will enable the flow to generate pack box label and invoice document for each box while closing the box. Also, it will enable post pack staging put away to happen on Gate pass level.

Follow below steps:
Go to WMS-> Bulk Packing.
Generate and print pack box ID.
Scan and place items into the box.
At close box operator will get confirmation popup.

Once box is closed, operator will be able to create Invoice for this box on the same screen.

On create invoice, a confirmation popup will be there.

On confirmation this will create Invoice in WMS and print the box label. This will create an invoice in WMS but not in Genesys.
Box label can be printed and pasted on the box. Box label has all the required details to identify the box on floor.

Adding boxes to customer-wise gate pass
Boxes can be scanned in Manage section of Gate Pass screen to be added into customer wise gate pass.
In Gate Pass Manage screen, operator will scan the Box Id.
if box id is not part of any gate pass,
If there is no CREATED gate pass for the said customer, system will create a new gate pass and add the box to it.
If there is only 1 CREATED gate pass for the said customer, system add the box to it.
If there is more that 1 CREATED gate pass for the said customer, system will show both and user will have to select which one to add the box to.
On Submit in all above 3 cases, gate pass details will be visible to the user.
if box id is already part of some gate pass, then show the details.
system will show the details of the gate pass.

Gate pass wise handover
Input the gate-pass code to be handover, system will show how many boxes are there in it to handover. scan all boxes to mark the handover.
User can capture Handover Dispatch details
This will move the gate pass status from created to completed.
At time of handover, system will send SKU qty details of all the boxes in the gate pass details to Genesys and let Genesys create invoice and transportation docs at time of handover.

In case of order cancellation or if any box is missing
User will have to pick available all boxes from staging location
Cancel existing gate pass
Create a new Gate Pass and Map all available boxes to this new gate pass
Complete the handover.
