👀 Highlights
We've introduced various exciting features and enhancements that will revolutionize your operations. Here's a glimpse of what's in store for you:
Customer wise Gate Passes and Gate pass wise Post Pack Staging
Configurable Box Scanning for Enhanced Bulk Handover Flexibility
Key Features
Box-wise Inwards
Introducing Boxwise Inwards, a revolutionary feature designed to enhance warehouse efficiency and streamline operational processes. This cutting-edge addition aims to expedite the GRN process, providing smoother operations than ever before. With this feature, users can now GRN boxes sent by suppliers or returns by customers at the box level, offering a new level of control. These key features are set to transform warehouse management significantly.
Key Characteristics:
External Box Code Support
Box-wise Crossdocking
Increff is excited to introduce the Cross-Docking feature in WMS, aimed at revolutionizing our warehousing and logistics operations. Cross-docking is a logistics strategy used in warehousing and transportation operations, where products or materials are transferred directly from an inbound truck or container to an outbound truck or container with little or no storage in between.
Boxwise Cross-docking allows the direct transfer of boxes from inbound to outbound transportation, minimizing storage and handling requirements.
This new functionality significantly reduces the number of scans needed per item or box from receipt to dispatch, streamlining the entire warehousing process.
The implementation of Cross-Dock Flow in our WMS demonstrates a dedication to improving efficiency, cutting costs, and enhancing operational speed while reducing bottlenecks.
Forward Order Video Capturing in WMS
We are delighted to announce a groundbreaking enhancement to our WMS – the introduction of forward video-capturing capabilities.
This update revolutionizes the management and processing of forward packaging in response to market needs and requirements from leading marketplaces such as Amazon, Myntra, Ajio, and Nykaa.
SFS/USP Return Video Capturing
Marketplaces enforce stricter SP claim regulations, now demanding video evidence of return and forward order processing with clear display of identifiers like AWB numbers, order IDs, invoices, or shipping labels. Utilizing a NAS device for storing videos is an innovative improvement to Increff SFS/USP functionalities, overcoming limited warehouse/store internet bandwidth and granting sellers control over video retention duration. Users can download the media they need based on a variety of search filters.
SFS/ USP: Support External ItemCodes and External Serial Code in Packing
This update introduces two major enhancements:
Use Existing External Item IDs to Pack: Now, in Increff SFS, users can utilize pre-existing unique external item IDs during the packing process. This feature simplifies the workflow for brands with serialized inventory or those using Increff WMS for store dispatches, making the packing process more efficient.
Capture External Serial Codes: Both Increff SFS and USP now support capturing external serial codes for items during packing. This functionality extends to capturing unique identifiers like IMEI numbers and Myntra Tag Loop codes, offering improved traceability and seamless integration with external systems.
In SFS & USP, Users can now pack items using external item IDs and capture external serial codes directly, enhancing traceability and accuracy in the packing process.
Customer wise Gate Passes and Gate pass wise Post Pack Staging
Allows boxes to be added to customer-specific gate passes, with system support for creating new gate passes or adding to existing ones based on the customer and box ID scanned.
Adopts a naming convention for gate passes for easy identification and tracking.
Ensures tracking from the box packing station to staging areas, improving operational transparency.
Decreases the number of invoices generated by bundling packs under a single customer gate pass.
Product Usability
Enhanced Gate Entry and Box Receiving Workflow
The latest update to the WMS brings significant enhancements to the gate entry process and its related functionalities aiming at improving operational control and efficiency in warehouse inward operations.
The Box ID generation has been separated into its own screen, streamlining the initial steps of gate entry creation.
Users now can reprint Inward Box ID stickers through a dedicated screen.
The search capabilities within the gate entry screen have also been refined, making it easier to retrieve data.
Additionally, this update introduces a redirection mechanism from the gate entry screen to the "Receive Inward Box" screen, providing users with a choice to either stay or proceed.
Furthermore, the receiving process now supports both external and internal box codes, offering flexibility for different operational requirements.
To ensure organized storage of incoming boxes awaiting further processing, an Inward Staging Area & Location Configuration has been implemented.
Enhancements in Video Capturing Configuration
Now introducing channel-level video capturing control, alongside warehouse-level customization. Seamlessly navigate through our intuitive interface to toggle video settings for each channel, ensuring precision and flexibility in Forward / Return processing.
Additional Updates Included:
Device-Level Configuration for Base Folder Name in NAS storage
Restricted Access and Enhanced Security, Modifying these configurations is restricted to users with wms_admin privileges
NAS Configuration Enhancements
Simplified, One-Click Media Download Solution to Streamline SPF Claims Process
The innovative solution we have developed is a single-screen interface that provides a comprehensive view for downloading all associated media, such as return order processing videos, forward order processing videos, and images. This groundbreaking approach enables efficient utilization of time and resources, enabling your team to prioritize what truly matters.
View & Retry Pending/ Failed Video Uploads to NAS in WMS
We are thrilled to introduce a highly anticipated functionality that aims to streamline the management and debugging of pending/failed video uploads for both forward and return order processing. This update is designed to provide greater transparency and control over the video upload process, ensuring that no video goes missing and simplifying troubleshooting.
Prioritize smarter, ship bigger units faster!
Our latest enhancement introduces a more intelligent approach to inventory allocation for perishable items with varying unit sizes. Users now have the option to prioritize either expiry or bigger Unit of Measure for order allocation in the case of perishable products.
Larger units, prioritized shipments: Say goodbye to expired goods! Our system can now allocate inventory based on unit size, prioritizing larger units for perishable items. This means bigger orders get fulfilled faster, reducing waste and boosting efficiency.
Expiry? Not a priority for bigger units: Got bulky items with a distant expiry date? Our system prioritizes them for allocation, regardless of their expiration compared to smaller units. This optimizes warehouse space and ensures timely shipments for your biggest orders.
Ditch the Wait, Update Key SKU Attributes Instantly!
Edit SKU attributes directly in your OMS and reclaim your time.
Effortless updates: Make changes on the fly, no support requests needed.
Boost efficiency: Streamline workflows and empower your team with self-service control and eliminate dependency on the support team.
Introducing Audit Logs for Inward, Storage, and Pack Boxes for Enhanced Visibility
Experience a new level of transparency and control in your warehouse management journey with audit logs for inward, storage, and pack boxes, offering you detailed tracking and improved oversight of your warehouse activities on the boxes. Simplify audits and bolster decision-making with this powerful utility.
Item code extraction from QR code scanning
We are thrilled to share that now we allow users to extract the ItemCode (Serialised barcode for every item inwarded in warehouse) by scanning the QR codes pasted on the products.
This will greatly benefit warehouse operators in several ways:
The need for printing and pasting serialized barcode (Item code) stickers will be eliminated.
Scanning product item codes will become much easier through the scan of QR codes.
Experience the convenience of on-the-go printing triggered through mobile device
Take printing of documents and stickers to the next level with this latest update! Now easily trigger printing of documents and stickers at different processes directly from your mobile devices.
Simply connect your mobile device to the same network as your Windows desktop running the Increff Print App.
Enable Remote in the Printing Configurations and input the desktop's IP address.
Select your desired printers for various items and voila! Effortless mobile printing at your fingertips.
Optimized Aisle Distance Sorting for Enhanced Auto Aisle Suggestion in B2B Picking
We are excited to announce a significant update to the Auto Aisle Allocation feature in our Increff WMS. This update optimizes the aisle suggestion process by improving the sorting logic and workflow adjustments based on the distance of aisles determined using aisles created in the system in chronological order. This update improves picking accuracy and efficiency, minimizing unnecessary movements, and improving overall warehouse productivity.
Improved Sorting Logic
We have refined the auto aisle allocation's sorting logic to prioritize aisle suggestions based on physical proximity rather than the age of the picklist. The system now calculates the distance using aisle IDs, assuming aisles are created in the system in chronological order. This adjustment ensures that pickers are directed to start from the nearest available aisle, streamlining the picking process and reducing transit time.
Enhanced Workflow for Aisle Selection
The workflow for selecting the next aisle has been enhanced to improve efficiency. The system will now prioritize searching for the nearest eligible aisle ahead of the picker's current position. If no suitable aisle is found in that direction, it will then search through aisles behind the current location, starting from the 0th aisle, until an eligible one is identified. This update ensures a more logical and seamless transition between aisles, ultimately optimizing the picking workflow.
Configurable Box Scanning for Enhanced Bulk Handover Flexibility
Save time and streamline your operations with this flexible improvement. Introducing a pivotal update to Increff WMS: a new configuration for making box ID scans optional during bulk order handovers. Responding to client feedback, this update allows clients to choose the option of handover where the user simply scans the order ID and Invoice ID, bypassing the need for box scanning.
If the configuration is on, any Box ID scan is not required. Furthermore, we display boxes in a table (similar to the scanned boxes table) along with the box count.
If the configuration is off, the flow will be the same as it currently is, where all box IDs must be scanned (Default Configuration).
Please reach out to our Omni Success team to enable/disable this configuration.
Pick Order Group Auto Naming
To make a Pick Order Group more identifiable, the naming suggestion with prefix “YY-MM-DD-HH-MM-SS- ” will be shown while creating a Pick Order Group.
Creation of Partner and Partner locations for Marketplace channels
Until now, you could only create partners and partner locations for systems like your ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning). But listen up, now you can create the partner and partner location mappings for smooth order sync from B2B front end to Increff system.
This will help the users to create partners and partner locations for syncing orders from front end system where B2B business is being done on the Shopfront.
To create partner and partner locations using Increff APIs, you can refer to Create Vendor Master API
Elevate Your Logistics: Streamlined AWB Validation with Persistent Alert & Mandatory Clearance
Exciting news for logistics efficiency! We've supercharged the AWB validation process in our manifest creation and handover stages. Introducing persistent error alerts and mandatory error resolution, we're setting new standards in operational accuracy and efficiency. Gone are the days of overlooked incorrect AWBs in manifest and handover! Now, non-dismissible modal error messages demand your attention until manually dismissed and AWB is physically removed, adding an extra layer of precision.
Displaying SKU Attributes in Sorting Screens
Additional information on SKU attributes would be displayed in item sorting & b2b item sorting screens which can help in sorting items for orders based on any SKU attribute like dimensions, weight, or fragile.
This information can be used for style wise sorting items and then doing style wise packing.

🔧 Technology Architecture
Manually refreshing Channel level jobs
Now manually refresh channel-level jobs with ease. Keep your workflows up-to-date effortlessly, enhancing efficiency and control.
A new UI functionality has been added for manually refreshing channel-level jobs in CIMS even if no channel jobs are present, Eg, jobs that are newly created like consolidated invex job.
Optimized Order Hopping to improve Omni-channel experience
We have made some tweaks in the Order hopping workflow to improve the Omni-channel Offline to Online experience for brands.
Now, in case of rejection of an order from a store which does have inventory to sale for an product , Increff system will still send zero inventory update to Online channels (marketplaces, webshops, front-end websites).
This will help online channels to create the hopped orders in a different store which can reduce the logistic costs and increase chances of offline sale in the store from where order was rejected.
Support for Cancellation of Return Orders
We have now introduced a new feature that allows for the synchronization of return order cancellations from various front-end systems such as marketplaces, webshops, and websites. This enhancement will greatly reduce the occurrence of failed syncs and eliminate any duplicate return orders in Increff's downstream system.
Marketplaces where this is being supported currently are Nykaa, Limeroad, Pharmeasy, Snapdeal.
Added support in WMS to receive returns for items dispatched in the store
We've enhanced our WMS to now support the processing of returns for items originally dispatched from the store for efficient returns processing:!
Update shipping/billing Address for Open Orders on Supplier/Customer address update
Upon updating the address of a supplier or customer, OMS now updates the shipping/billing address accordingly to accurately reflect the address in all open orders for the respective supplier or customer (Processing, Fulfillable, Created, Unfulfillable).
