There are 2 ways to putaway boxes in inward Staging locations.

Inward Staging Putaway
This screen is used to putaway 1 box at a time at any Inward Staging location.
Inward Staging putaway screen is present at WMS Home → Inward Staging Area → Inward Staging Putaway.
Multiple boxes of same gate entry can be put away in one location.
Multiple boxes of different gate entry can’t be put away in one location.
Same gate entries boxes can be put away to multiple locations.
Pallet Wise Put Away
This workflow to be used only when items are already consolidation
Inward staging location stickers will be pasted on pallets. Putaway of boxes on these locations (physically pallets) will be used to maintain inventory accuracy.
If pallets arrive at the warehouse, we have the option to scan the multiple boxes within the pallet using the Pallet-wise Putaway screen. This allows us to put away the entire pallet at once by transporting it to a designated location for storage.
View Inward Staging
View Inward Staging screen is added to present the following information:
Breakdown of box counts based on Gate Entry, categorized by different statuses such as Inspected, Approved, Rejected, and GRNed, arranged by aisle.
Displaying box counts at the Sub Order level and corresponding SLA times, organized aisle-wise.
Overview of inward staging locations, including the total, enabled, and disabled sites, along with the count of boxes in various statuses like Inspected, Approved, Rejected, and GRNed.
To access inward staging views, go to WMS Home → Inward Staging Area → View Inward Staging.
Gate Entry View
Gate entry view can be used for inspection picking, approval process and GRN process. It will have both Crossdock and Storage purposes. Even for approving Crossdock, it is used.
User will see here below:
For approval, user can see how many boxes are for storage and crossdock
How many boxes have been Rejected and how many boxes have been inspected or approved
GRN Box Count represents the number of boxes which are inwarded without approval and inspection process and are put away to inward staging locations.
Crossdock View
In Crossdock view, the details will be sub order wise. This view would be used to get the aisle details where user can go and pick the crossdock boxes.
