Crossdock Putaway Workflow

Below are the steps to put away the boxes to the Cross Dock Staging area:

1. Go to WMS-> Crossdock Staging Putaway.

2. To check the nearest empty location in Aisle, Scan any first loation of aisle.

3. Scan the box ID to be put away to Crossdock staging.

4. Scan the location ID to confirm the putaway

Crossdock Picking Workflow

Crossdock orders can be picked from the Crossdock Staging Locations based on the SLA, specific order ID, or pick order group on an as-needed basis for shipping.

• To pick orders as per SLA, the order and SLA details along with Aisle and Box count are present in Cross Dock Staging Area Details screen. Choose the Order to pick and proceed with steps mentioned below.

• To create a Pick Order Group, refer to this document. Post Pick Order group creation, follow the below steps using the Pick Order Group ID option.

1. Go to WMS-> Cross Dock Staging Area-> Cross Dock Picking for Outward.

   

2. The picking can be done using Outward Order ID or Pick Order Group. Select either Outward Order ID or Pick Order Group ID.

3. The Aisle and Location name will be suggested to pick the box, scan the Location ID and Box ID while physically picking the box. Next aisle and location for the order or Pick Order group will be suggested. The same steps can be followed.

After picking Crossdock boxes for Outward, the boxes can be moved to pre-pack staging locations. Then, packing, invoicing, post-pack staging, and handover processes can be followed.
