We introduced a powerful feature that enhances your control over picklist allocation. With this update, you now have the ability to modify the Picklist Allocation Time, allowing you to fine-tune your order processing workflow.

Picklist Allocation Time is the time for which the picklist is in ALLOCATED status. During this time, the picklist suggested to a picker will not be suggested to another picker for picking. When a picker goes for picking and interrupts the picking due to an internet issue or screen refresh, the items would be allocated to that picker for a certain amount of time. This time is known as the Picklist Allocation Time.

Key Feature: Modify Picklist Allocation Time

In response to user feedback and to further streamline your operations, we have introduced a configurable Picklist Allocation Time option.

The users with admin role should be able to modify the configuration.

The maximum value for picklist allocation time is 15 mins and the minimum is 1 min.

This configuration is warehouse specific.

How It Works

  1. Open the Picklist Configuration screen within Increff WMS.

  2. Locate the new "Picklist Allocation Time" configuration.

  3. Enter a value between 1 and 15 minutes to specify your desired allocation time.

  4. Save your configuration changes.

Previously, if a picker experienced an interruption such as an internet issue or screen refresh while picking, the items would remain allocated to that picker for a duration of 5 minutes. This could impact productivity since the picklist for the assigned item might be overlooked during the picking process.
